This beautiful and whimsical tale will have children mesmerized until the very last page! Join Autumn and her dog, Maple Leaf, on their magical adventure in the mysterious woods near her grandmother's house, where she meets a clever mushroom fairy and other mystical creatures. Suddenly the entrance to the woods she came through disappears, and Autumn must now trust her intuition and lean on a new friend for help in finding her way back home to her grandmother's house. Time is ticking!

This lovely story teaches children the value of friendship, kindness, trusting and believing in yourself, asking for help, and being grateful for who and what you have in your life. What an inspirational message!

The rich and vibrant setting in this story gives it an ethereal excitement to it, and the bright and whimsical illustrations certainly reflect that. Children will be drawn right in from the beginning and remain engaged throughout the whole story. 

The author did a great job with character development, and I'm sure that children will form a special connection with the unique and authentic characters in this story. I felt like I was right there alongside Autumn and her friends on her journey through the forest! My favorite part of the book is where Autumn learns that true magic is already inside of her, she just has to believe in it. 

I highly recommend this book to all children ages 6 and up, and to read it with their family as well. I guarantee you it will put a smile on their face!
